Hi, Nice to Meet You!

Somewhere between puberty and publishing, I wondered why the beauty industry (doesn't that say it all?) was bent on depicting the female as universally flawed. Beautiful women need cosmetic surgery to stay beautiful? Lusciously "real" women need tend to those extra 10 pounds? I pondered how to counter all of this negative messaging and started developing my first company - Positive Propaganda. My Great, Big, Juicy, Idea was to create a vehicle for messages that shout to the world YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL! and given my obsession with writing books to inspire and uplift, creating Our World Books was a very natural progression of that concept.

But of course, everyone's not going to want to read one of our can't-put-down Self-Love Books (not to be confused with self-help books - this is the next generation of self-improvement books - designed to refine an already fabulous readership!) and that's alright, we have other ways of getting our message across.... Everything in our catalog, from our books to our Say It! Shirts, is in some way an attempt to get it out there - to push our not-so-hidden agenda to take back feeling and being beautiful, powerful, healthy, successful, and whole and to put that experience right where it should be - in your hands.
